Amelia Dimoldenberg is finally wiping the grease off her fingers and closing up shop. After twelve long years of subjecting every A-lister under the sun to lukewarm nuggets and painful banter, she’s announced Chicken Shop Date is coming to an end.

The YouTube series—which started life as a column when she was just 17—has seen her flirt her way through everyone from Billie Eilish and Andrew Garfield to actual Sir Paul McCartney. But Dimoldenberg announced on Insta today that after a “final few dates”, she’s hanging up the aprons to move on to the next venture.

Given she’s currently developing a Skins-style drama for the BBC, it looks like she won’t be queuing up for the two-piece meal deal anytime soon.
